At the beginning of 2011 I started a 365 day project. The idea was to make at least one photograph a day for the entire year. Nothing at all original about that. It’s a popular endeavor on Flickr and in various different guises elsewhere.
All through 2010 work took up a huge amount of everything I had in terms of time and head space. It was a massive challenge for me but from that good things have come. As a result I now have a bit more head space if not time for other things.
This project then is primarily a vehicle to develop a bit of discipline in spending time to sublimate. To get back into satisfying routines. To think about photography and making pictures.
I am writing this at the end of January. So far I’ve stuck to the brief. I intend to keep going. Wish me luck. I shall post all the pictures taken each month at the end of each month here. Click on the links below to see how I’m getting on…
