The light purple bits project what’s probably the best case scenario if things continue as they are. If you’re of the mind to include the impact of the melting ice sheets look at the dark purple areas. The water gets a lot deeper.

I’m off up to Fort Amherst this evening to attend an event organised by the World Development Movement, “Kent, Coal and Climate Change“. It’s something I’ve blogged about before here and here.

With the Climate Camp around Kingsnorth in August things could be hotting up around Medway sooner that the climatologist predict. I’m looking forward it.
