lovely fresh carrots from out of the ground

lovely fresh carrots from out of the ground, originally uploaded by monaxle.

Aside from this small bunch of carrots, one marrow and about two dozen small potatoes this is the sum of the harvest from out vegetable patch in the garden. We also planted some spring onions, leeks and pumpkins. The leeks and onions looked like they were growing but when we picked them they were tiny! The pumpkin leaves and what not spread across the ground like a crazy thing – not one pumpkin though!
