30 miles a day will get me there.

Just clocked up 8,009 miles on the bike this year to date. There is 70 more days left in 2016. That works out at about 30 miles a day (28.442857143 to be precise) to reach 10,000 miles for the year. It’s what I’m going for. I love riding my bike.

A Strava contact reached 10,000 miles yesterday. He commented that next year will be a test of motivation as he’ll be working from home. 22 miles each way commute five days a week is nothing to sniff at but he’s right about motivation. I’ll be interested in seeing if he keeps up the pace without the daily commute.
